Terms of Service – Fact Quest Legends

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Fact Quest Legends, you agree to these Terms. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent.

2. Eligibility

• Designed for ages 13 and up.
• Parental consent required for all users under 18.

3. Accounts

Our system automatically generates a unique username and secure password for your account during the registration process. Your learning progress and achievements are stored on our secure servers to enable access across all your devices. You are responsible for maintaining account security and keeping your login credentials confidential.

4. Purchases and Payments

• The app requires a one-time purchase (no subscription).
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Refund Policy: All purchases are final. Please use the free trial to decide before buying.

5. Educational Content and AI Disclaimer

Fact Quest Legends uses AI to generate themed educational content. While efforts are made to moderate content, we do not guarantee accuracy, appropriateness, or reliability. Adult supervision is recommended.

6. Availability and Termination

We may update or discontinue the app at any time without notice. We are not liable for interruptions, downtime, or loss of access.

Inactive Account Deletion: Accounts that remain inactive for one year or longer may be automatically deleted to maintain system efficiency and data hygiene. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users before account deletion, but we are not obligated to preserve inactive accounts indefinitely.

7. Data and Privacy

Your account information, learning progress, and achievements are securely stored on our servers using industry-standard security practices. This enables seamless synchronization across all your devices. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Profile page. For help, you may also request deletion by emailing factquest.app@gmail.com.

8. Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about outcomes, accuracy, or performance. We are not liable for damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, regardless of where you live or access the app.
